The Partial Hospitalization Program at UF Health Florida Recovery Center is the next step in drug treatment or alcohol treatment after someone has successfully completed drug detox or alcohol detox. It is also the ideal program for anyone who needs long-term rehab without medical supervision. Drug rehab and alcohol treatment through PHP take place seven days a week at UF Health Florida Recovery Center’s main campus in Gainesville, Florida.
This intensive addiction treatment program provides people an opportunity to learn sober-living skills with their peers. Through PHP, participants can receive family and group therapy, alcoholic counseling, drug abuse treatment and 12-step education.
The UF Health Florida Recovery Center main campus in Gainesville is just minutes from UF Health Shands Hospital and gives people improved access to UF Health addiction specialists and other experts. The campus features several apartment buildings, each with eight suites that can accommodate two to three people.
